School council is a committee made up
of elected parents/guardians, community representatives, staff,
and sometimes students that help to provide the community voice and
parent/guardian perspective on important school topics. School council is a good way for parents/guardians to get
involved in their child/children’s education while playing an important role in the partnership between home and
school.
